Do not copy another organization's policy. Confirm what information is collected, why it is collected, where it is stored, who can access it, retention rules, deletion process, analytics, cookies, donation platform behavior, volunteer submissions, and future SMS handling.
Future policy must address mobile information and SMS opt-in data, including that it will not be sold and counsel/provider-reviewed language about sharing with third parties, affiliates, and operational service providers.
